Children's Ministries

Children's Life Classes

We are excited to teach and pour into your children. The Children's Life Classes are held in the children's wing. If your child is already in the children's wing for Kingdom Kids, they will go to their life class, unless you check them out of the children's wing.

New Springfield Church of God is working to make sure our chidlren are trained in the foundations of God's Word. The Children's Life Classes cover Old Testament, New Testament, and Christian Beliefs and Character Training.

Nursery

Our nursery is located right off the lobby. Each morning our children are loved on and cared for.

Safety

New Springfield Church of God is taking an active approach in protecting our little ones. Each teacher and those who serve in leadership have been background checked. In addition, children are checked in and out of the children's wing each Sunday. This area is secured and watched carefully to ensure your child's safety.

We thank you for completing forms for your child upon your first check-in at the children's wing. This helps us to monitor dietary needs, allergies and any health issues to care for your child. We appreciate your cooperation in protecting our children at NSCOG.

Youth Group

Life Class - Sunday mornings at 11 am and Youth Group - Wednesday evenings from 7pm - 8pm (Unless we do an activity during the day!)

Women's Ministries

CWC

CWC - Christian Women's Connection

Our women are a vital part of the ministries that take place at New Springfield Church of God. Currently, we have two active groups and every woman is invited to attend both groups. Besides regular meetings, the women are involved in Christmas parties, and other fellowship activities.

Men's Ministries

A weekly a group of men gather together to eat breakfast, spend time in fellowship and Bible Study.

Men’s Bible Study

Time: Tuesdays, 6:45 a.m.

Location: Golden Rye

Group Status: Open

The men also take part each year in a Golf tournament and OX Roast near Columbus, Ohio. They enjoy fellowship together, golf, fishing, horseshoes, various speakers, and music.

Senior Ministries

As each of us ages, the challenges of life can sometimes become overwhelming. We begin to experience difficulties we have never encountered before. Loneliness from the loss of friends and loved ones. Fear and financial stress of personal health problems. Concern over having sufficient financial resources.

At New Springfield Church of God, we understand these challenges. We offer Life Groups to all ages. Life Groups are dedicated to one another. Most meet weekly over dinner to create the opportunity for real growth in relationships. These groups often see each other throughout the week and are involved in other projects together.

VOLUNTEER POSITION OPEN: NSCOG is currently looking for someone who would be willing to organize, promote, and attend various functions that would appeal to our older saints.

Be the Church

Be The Church is all about being God's hands and feet and showing God's love to those in our communities. The Be The Church committee is a committee that meets to plan opportunities for members of New Springfield Church of God to go out and into the community and serve.
